History
The Association is pleased, on request, to present a copy of the only published history of the square to every new member. About Vincent Square was written by Alicia C. Percival. The book documents the history of Vincent Square through its houses, famous former residents, institutions, politics, literature and art.

As part of its redevelopment an archaeological study was commissioned by Westminster Kingsway College and has kindly been given to the Vincent Square Residents’ Association. It is an interesting document with references back to Roman times and lists the various finds over the centuries together with ancient maps of Vincent Square and the surrounding area.
